Roy Oppenheim Shares His Views on the South Florida Real Estate Market During a Guest Appearance on WPBT-TV

( Weston, Florida, April 5, 2005 ) Roy Oppenheim, founder and senior partner of the Weston, Florida-based law firm Oppenheim Pilelsky, was invited to be a guest on the WPBT-TV program “Issues” to discuss his views on the red hot South Florida real estate market. Oppenheim joined guests Jay Chernoff, from the Realtor Association of Greater Miami and the Beaches, and veteran journalist Ike Seamans for the half hour program that aired on Friday, April 1 and again on Sunday, April 3.

WPBT-TV (Channel 2) is a PBS affiliate in South Florida . “Issues” is a weekly, locally-produced public affairs program that examines important issues to the community.

Oppenheim noted on the program that he doesn’t see any significant slow down in the real estate market in the immediate future. He said it would take an unexpected external force, such as a dramatic spike in interest rates, or an “oil shock” price increase to cool off some the sizzle. Last summer, Oppenheim authored a white paper that analyzed whether South Florida was sitting on a real estate bubble and ready for a correction.

Oppenheim is a seasoned real estate attorney and also real estate investor. Besides his law practice, he also owns and operates Weston Title & Escrow, a Weston-based real estate title company.
