ROY OPPENHEIM OF Oppenheim Pilelsky APPOINTED TO WESTON CHARTER REVIEW COMMISSION

WESTON, FL – Roy Oppenheim, a partner at the law firm of Oppenheim Pilelsky in Weston, was appointed by the Weston City Commission to serve on the Weston Charter Review Board. His appointment was announced at the last Weston City commission meeting.

The Weston Charter Review Commission was created by the Weston City Charter to review the Charter after the City’s first three years and make any recommended changes or improvements to be voted on by the residents.

Oppenheim is a well-known Weston activist. He is the immediate past president of the Weston Democratic Club and was a founding member and the attorney who incorporated the Weston Homeowners association about a decade ago. He is also a director and founder of the Weston Foundation and chairman of its allocation committee.

Oppenheim is also active in democratic Broward County politics, and he serves on the Princeton Alumni Committee for Broward.

In addition, he is the founding member of Temple Bnai Aviv and served as its third President.

Oppenheim is a partner with his wife Ellen Pilelsky.
