Oppenheim Pilelsky Represents Custom Home Builder in a $22.5 Million Property Purchase in Boynton BeachLandmark Custom Homes to build at Equus, an elegant equestrian community

(Weston, Florida) — Roy Oppenheim, of the Weston-based law firm of Oppenheim Pilelsky, represented Landmark Custom Homes of Equus, LLC, in its purchase of 96 exclusive home sites in Equus, an elegant estate home community being developed in Boynton Beach. Landmark is under contract to purchase the property from Equus Properties, LLC and Equus Holdings, LLC for $22.6 million. The law firm of Broad and Cassel represented the sellers.

Landmark Custom Homes is teaming up with Engle Homes, Ecclestone Signature Homes and Schultz Development, to build out the 280-acre community, 60% of which is dedicated to open space. The plan is for 280 country estate homes all crafted with a northern European flair. Each will have either a lake or preserve view with prices starting at $600,000.

Equus features 5.5 miles of horse trails, two 10-acre lakes, and gazebos, as well as a 30-acre equestrian center with 100 stalls for boarding horses. A 7,000 square-foot clubhouse with a resort style swimming pool, tennis courts and fitness center will overlook the equestrian center.

Landmark Custom Homes was invited to participate in Equus because its style and quality of building is consistent with the community’s high-end country lifestyle. The builder is currently having great success developing Landmark Ranch Estates, a 44-home equestrian community in Southwest Ranches, Florida. Oppenheim Pilelsky has served as legal counsel for Landmark Ranch Estates since the development’s inception.
