On September 30, 2025, Metropica celebrated a major milestone with the groundbreaking of the next phase in its $2 billion mixed-use development in Sunrise, Florida—an ambitious expansion that is planned to bring thousands of new residential units, a vibrant mix of retail and entertainment destinations, and a hotel. Infrastructure work, including utility installations and streetscaping, is already underway.
