Southwest Ranches
Construction scheduled for million-dollar homes.
Construction should begin in a few months on a community of million-dollar
homes now that town officials have approved the overall design
plan.
The Town Council in a unanimous vote last month, gave the go-ahead
for the 44 home development on 138 acres between Southwest 166th
and 172nd avenues on the north side of Stirling Road.
Lots will average from 1.7 to 4 acres with home prices beginning
at 1.4 million, attorney for Landmark at Stirling Ranches.
According to Rick Bell, the firms president, the community won't be gated but each home will be required to
have it's own gate. A mandatory homeowner association will govern the development, which will include a
17-acre wetland preserve.
