Oppenheim Pilelsky PARTNER ROY OPPENHEIM ELECTED
TO CATALINA LIGHTING BOARD OF DIRECTORS

-Roy Oppenheim, a partner with the law firm of Oppenheim Pilelsky, has been elected to serve for a one-year term on the
Catalina Lighting board of directors.
Catalina Lighting
is a Miami-based lighting distributor that trades on the New York
Stock Exchange under the symbol "LTG."
Oppenheim
is a well-known South Florida attorney who is law partners with
his wife, Ellen Pilelsky, in Weston. Oppenheim is also the President
and founder of Weston Title and Escrow, Inc., a title insurance
agency serving primarily Broward County. He was formally associated
with White & Case in Miami.
He is active
in both the Broward County and Weston political scenes. He serves
on the Executive Committee of the Broward Democratic Executive
Committee and was a Florida Delegate to the 1992 Democratic National
Convention.
Oppenheim
is the immediate past President of the Weston Democratic Club,
which he co-founded and was also a founding member and the attorney
who incorporated the Association of Homeowners of Weston, and
Temple Bnai Aviv, of which he served as its third President. He
is also a director and founder of the Weston Foundation, serving
as Chairman of its Allocation Committee, and was recently appointed
to the Weston Charter Review Commission.
In addition,
Oppenheim serves on the Princeton South Florida School's Committee,
whereby he interviews prospective applicants to the University.
